Meet Captain Cole Hill, your guide to the bountiful Kenai and Kasilof Rivers. Cole is a family man with a passion for fishing, and has been a professional guide since 2013. Growing up near the Sacramento and Feather Rivers in California, Cole spent most of his childhood river fishing. Three years ago he followed his dreams and moved to Alaska to work as a fishing guide. He’s spent the last three years learning the best fishing holes on the Kenai Peninsula. Cole is not only a knowledgeable local guide, he’s friendly, patient, fun and outgoing too. You will be sure to have a memorable Alaska fishing adventure!

“I’ve had a passion for fishing since I was a young boy. I’ve spent a lot of my early childhood days learning how to fish.

Growing up in Northern California I had access to rivers, lakes, and the coast line. Honing my skills through trial and error, I finally began to learn the rivers, and find the best fishing holes. When I came up to Alaska for a vacation, I knew one day I would call this place home. I followed my dream, and three years later I made that dream become a reality. I now call Soldotna my home. I reside here with my 2 year old son, and wife Katelyn. I hope to pass the love and passion I have for fishing down to my son who has been fishing with me since he was born.

The thing I love most about Alaska as an angler, and professional guide is the breath taking landscape like no other place in the world that I have fished. Either floating down the Kasilof, or motoring up the Kenai you are bound to see wildlife, enjoy beautiful scenery and experience pure beauty this landscape has to offer.

I look forward to taking you on an Alaskan fishing trip of a lifetime!”
